PEP BOYS AUTO BRAND ILLUSTRATIONS

Client : Pep Boys Auto Illustrations of Manny Moe and Jack for all branded materials

 Years back I received a phone call from an old colleague exclaiming “We Are Bringing the Boys Back!” Ya see, a couple of years before, a new CEO came to Pep Boys and thought 3 cartoon mechanics weren’t a good representation of the brand so Manny, Moe and Jack were shelved (probably wasn’t a fan of elves making cookies in a tree or a clown making burgers either). 

For a couple of years after phone call, whether it was NASCAR events, television commercials, newspaper advertisements, or in store promotions, I was the guy illustrating them.
